SitioUno (sitiouno.us) is a technology company focused on building intelligent systems. VAOS is our flagship research initiative — a framework for governed autonomous intelligence born from real-world production requirements.

The name “Vonash” was born from a vision of truly autonomous systems — AI that does not just respond to prompts but operates with purpose, governance, and self-awareness. What started as an internal research project in autonomous trading became something bigger: a framework for governed autonomous intelligence applicable to any domain. The operating system that emerged — VAOS, the Vonash Autonomous Operating System — carries the Vonash name as a reminder of where the journey began and what it demands: autonomy with accountability.

We believe AI should be more than a feature bolted onto existing software. It should be the nervous system — observing, reasoning, delegating, learning. But autonomy without governance is dangerous. VAOS exists to solve that tension: maximum autonomy within maximum accountability. We are building the infrastructure for a future where AI systems operate with the same rigor, auditability, and governance that we expect from any critical system — and with capabilities that surpass what human-only operation can achieve.
